I couldn't break the contract, and I could't sell it to anyone else -- that's NY law (baroque & different from a lot of stats). So I rented the condo to a banker and moved into campus housing. Had to get a mortgage against the condo because the lawsuit went on for years. My husband and I spent our wedding night in my dorm room. To out someone, you are literally fucking with their livelihood. To out someone without all the facts and coming from another lady within the industry is just as fucked up and maybe a little more so. But in either case your playing with people's lives and that in itself is very dangerous.
